|
Noble is particularly well known in
Derbyshire and was the county’s artist in residence during 2001 as part of
the Vickers Art Prize , when he produced paintings at four prominent locations
around the county including Chatsworth. In 2008, Noble returned to Chatsworth
for a year long residency, which culminated in an large body of work exhibited
on the estate and in London. He has held numerous solo exhibitions over the
past ten years and his work can be found in some of Britain’s finest
galleries. His paintings are in private and public collections in Britain,
Australia and the USA.
